Daily we see searches on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Msn, Ask and others whereby moms are looking for extra ways to create income.

If we look closer we see that they're searching for phrases like stay at home moms jobs, home jobs for moms, p/t moms jobs and many more.

With the state of the economy currently i'm quite sure we'll see more men and women looking for extra security. There is good and bad news in this. The reason I say this is, some will fail miserably, and others will succeed and perhaps end up quitting their day job for their stay at home job. Why do some fail and others succeed?

I believe many people will jump into the first program that offers to pay them some easy money without much effort. Another reason is that they join a program get scammed or join a program only later realizing that they don't have the necessary skill sets to do the task required. One thing I can promise you is that if you don't do any work from home you'll not make any money.

The next question you may have is what types of online jobs are out there for you to choose from. Some of the choices are as follows:

* Data Entry

* Type At Home

* Process Rebates

* E-mail Processing

* Paid Surveys

* Medical Transcription

* Mystery Shopping

These are just a few of the many choices you'll have once you've done the appropriate research. The important thing is to either do the up front research yourself or use an external Work At Home Directory that has done some level of research for you. Please make absolutely sure that you filter any programs out using your work at home profile, which consist of understanding your current skill sets, available time, comfort zone and income objectives. This will ensure that you put yourself in a position for success.

I would then join two - three programs, read the step-by-step guidance, work hard and exercise patience while you build your income level up to the desired level.

Why two - three programs you may be asking? Well i've found that out of two - three programs you'll likely find a program or two that you enjoy doing and stick with it until you at least reach your desired income level. You can add on some free programs as well, but I would do two - three paid programs as a priority first. The paid programs, in my opinion, help you avoid the costly mistakes many make when starting off their online jobs.

Keep your goals in front of you and don't be denied success. If at first you don't succeed, pick yourself up and do a better job of researching and try again.
